WANTED: tonearm spring clip for HMV 101 portables.

Post by Marco Gilardetti »

Gentle fellows, I am looking for a spare spring clip for the tonearms of HMV 101 models. In the attached picture there is a photograph of the actual broken part, in order to avoid misunderstandings. I kindly ask you to help me finding this spare part as the gramophone is nearly unusable with the broken clip, and constantly at risk of being damaged.

Please note that this clip has to be of the "flexible" (spring) type: it has to hold the tonearm neck suspended when changing needle, but should flex and let the neck overstep it when pushed with a little force, in order to let the arm hang on its rest stand. So, rigid metal clips like those belonging to the 102 model won't work.

I'm paying well and promptly. Replica parts are welcome.

Thank you very much for reading!

Thanks to the kindness of user CharliePhono, this part is no longer needed. Let me publicly thank CharliePhono for having been so kind to pass this much needed part to me! :) Thanks also to all other fellows who couldn't help, but read this message with commitment nonetheless.

Marco.
