Viva tonal #15 reproducer: parts needed

Post by AllWoundUp »

Hi all, I'm in the process of rebuilding my Columbia #15 Viva-Tonal reproducer. i've replaced the diaphragm and gaskets. Does anybody know where I can buy a new insulator gasket?

The other thing I need is a needle bar. I managed to break mine near the 90 degree bend where it goes into the diaphragm. I managed to repair it with a piece of brass tubing and JB Weld but i'd rather have a new one in there.

Thanks, Mark.

As far as I know, no-one is making the red insulating gasket. I wish they did, I need a couple myself. If you do find a supplier, please let me know.
If you have no luck with the stylus bar in the US, send me a PM, and I'll send you one, no charge. I wouldn't think postage on this from England will break the bank!

Barry, that would be wonderful! I haven't had any luck finding one, I bid on a "Parts" soundbox on ebay but didn't win.

Thanks, Mark
