Unusual Vic MS for Trade -Sold!

Post by Jerry B. »

I am offering this unusual Vic MS for trade. As you can see from the photos it is missing the horn, elbow, and some corner columns. The motor runs fine and the Exhibition has been rebuilt and sounds great. I am interested in trading down to a more complete Victor or ??? Please let me know what you think. I am happy to deliver to Union. Thanks, Jerry

you're probably aware that that's a pretty rare model, from about 1903 to 1905 or so, a transitional MS machine that bridged the gap between the earlier and more ornate "standard" MS and the slightly later and physically more similar victor IV. it basically incorporates the larger three-spring motor of the MS (the IV had a two-spring) and the more basic case style of the IV, only in oak rather than the mahogany in which all IV's appear.

I had a complete example for a while, and it was one of only a couple that I'd ever seen. you might want to hold onto that one.
