YOU CAN PAINT IT PINK!

Post by Zwebie »

They say, (whoever they are), that once you own something, you can paint it pink, or do anything you want with it. I have never seen it taken to this extreme on an Edison Triumph!

Well, I guess there was a time when everything had to be in pastell colors. But why someone would paint an antique is beyond me...

As if the horn is not bad enough, the case appears to have been stripped of it's original finish and the mechanism looks dry.

The seller states that the machine was acquired just days ago and is as found. Fair enough, but even with 74 BA's thrown in I do not think there will be a frenzy of bidding at that starting price. We shall see.............

Who gives a rat's-ass about the paint job on that horn . . . do you all realize how rare that G Triumph is?

Definitely a Model D. The model G had a 2 spring motor and the on/off lever protruding thru the bedplate like a Home.
