WTB - 17' Spring for Victrola Motor

Post by CDBPDX »

Rebuilding my very first Victrola turntable and a spring needs to be replaced. Anybody got a new 17' Victrola spring with the pear shaped hole for sale?

Thanks! CDB

Go to the "Links" section of the Forum and click on the parts and repairs listing. There are several reputable dealers that sell springs.

Don't forget to clean, polish and oil your governor shaft. I like to clean out the gov bearings with toothpicks, too.

Thanks for the info!

Almost lost the little ball bearings in the governor 'keepers'. Had to dig out my really strong magnet to find them in the cleaning cup. Whew!
