I would like to have a nice looking elbow for my Victor IV for a reasonable price. It has to be solid because it has to support a large petal horn which has 11? sections. I think the horn is for a bigger Victor (V or VI?).
I have the repro elbow which fits OK, but in my mind I think the original might work better. It doesn't have to be shiny as the rest of my machine is not.
Is there a reason these are hard to find?

If you can settle for a reproduction, look for Ron Sitko in the links section and give him a call. He carries LOTS of parts and I got my Vic I elbow from him. I also got one from another source in the links seciton. Ron's is of better quality.

Re: WTB Victor Horn Elbow (IV)
Problem solved.
I got the repro elbow from Ron Sitko. It looks good to me and fits much better than the cast aluminum one. The horn fits tighter and it sits at a slightly higher angle which looks better. Added benifit, the elbow allows the horn to be swiveled without loosening the back holddown bolt.
IMO,If you can't find a "real" elbow, and aren't a super purist, this is the way to go.

Re: WTB Victor Horn Elbow (IV)
What material is the Ro Sitko elbow made from? Is it also aluminum or is brass or anything? Is it nickel plated? Would it be possible to post a picture?
Thanks

Here are pictures of the aluminum elbow and the elbow I got from Ron Sitko.
I had the aluminum elbow for a long time, at the time I got it that was all that was available.
The elbow from Ron Sitko is made of nickel plated brass. It looks like it was made as two halves and they were welded together. The new elbow has a step in the bottom lip which allows the horn to be swiveled.

Thanks for the pictures. The new one looks a lot better than the aluminum one. Something to think about...

I think the aluminum elbows are still supplied by some parts dealers. If the price is too good to be true, you should ask before buying. Please correct me but I believe the aluminum reproduction elbows are around $40 while the better quality Sitko ones are a little over $100. In my opinion that's an extra $60+ well spent. Jerry

I have a Ron Sitko elbow that I bought several years ago for my Vic III. Since it has aged, and these elbows look so good, it's hard to tell the difference between the Ron Sitko elbow and the original.
