I know, you probably cringed a little when reading the price, but I ask you: WHERE will you find one, and when you do, WILL IT COME APART (or crumble), and lastly: WHO will do a proper rebuild on it and make it sound FABULOUS?
It's all done. Photos of repair in "Machines" thread. You will need to re-use the tone arm screw from yours, as I am not able to find one in my workshop (YET), but It's smaller than a 4-40. I'm sure I can source one in my Edison parts drawer. $425, delivery included.

Re: FOR SALE: superb sounding rebuilt Edison P-1 reproducer
Not unreasonable at all for the rarity of a working P-1 reproducer, and the amount of work you've clearly put into it (I read through your restoration thread). Good job!
