I found the legs but no lower shelf.
I could use the shelf but if I cant find one I could use a tracing or good photos and measurements..

You should know that an A150 and B150 Diamond Disc phonographs have the same cabinet as the Amberola III. I have both, but they are complete phonographs.

Looks like a nice machine in good condition.
If you're interested in making it a oak Amberola III I have a nice empty 150 cabinet.

Why go to the trouble of replacing the entire cabinet if it won't be proper for the mechanism? And, also lose the integrity of the proper serial number match for both the original cabinet AND the mechanism?

What of the top grill components? The cabinet is complete other than the missing legs, and shelf.

Restoration is ALWAYS preferable to mix and match; especially with the early model versions, which so few unaltered units are extant.

You can't just "drop it in", unfortunately. The motor mounting hardware, horn mounts, inside trim, etc. would have to be removed from the existing cabinet and re-installed in the A/B 150 cabinet (or sourced from another Amberola III junker cabinet).

I should have read more closely. I thought it was an oak Amberola III cabinet, not A-150.

I agree with Fran in that seeing as the cabinet serial number matches the Machine I would consider restoration. The cabinet looks to be in very good condition and a good woodworker could probably restore it to the point where you almost wouldn't see it.
