FOR SALE: Two Different New Stereoview Sets (Last One)

Post by Curt A »

For Sale: Two different stereoview sets - #1 Phonographic Stereoviews and #2 Old Phonograph Heaven and Hell .
Number one is mainly reprints of old original stereoviews and number two is a set of original stereoviews created by me.

If you collect these, you probably know that the condition most stereoviews are found in after 100+ years of neglect leave a lot to be desired as far as viewing. Most have fading or yellowing from age, damage to the image, cracks, tears, etc. and may be distracting to view. What I have done is taken various stereoview images and restored, repaired (by removing any visual defects), corrected for brightness, contrast and color to give the optimum image quality back to the images.

These are exact duplicate images of either original cards or my own creation and all the images are printed on plain backgrounds (not Keystone or other manufacturers backgrounds - except for the Diableries (French images of hell - GOOGLE it for a description) that are included in set #2. The French Diableries are a combination of original 1870s images combined with stereo images that were taken by me. They, along with all of the stereo images in set #2 all are in color and have a very deep 3D effect, since they were created with modern digital cameras.

The older reprints in set #1 are mostly black & white and also have excellent 3D effects, but were copied from less than pristine originals - they look as good as any 100 year old stereoview, but maybe not as good as modern originals. Set #1 contains rarely seen phonograph related stereoviews, which would be expensive to obtain as originals. Set #2 are one of a kind creations, not available anywhere else.

There are 16 cards in Set #1 and 9 cards in Set #2. The price is $50 for either set or $85 for both plus Priority Mail Flat Rate Small Box shipping of $7.15 in the US.

The first picture shows the cards in Set #2, but only shows 7 cards. There are two other Diableries included in the set

The second picture shows all 16 cards in Set #1. If you know how to "freeview" or cross-eye view them, you can see the effect even though they are partial images...
Any questions... please ask by any method you like...
