√I was thinking of going to the Antique Phonograph Society 1n a week with photos of Dad's stuff but I doubt that would be fruitful either.
If you live near Los Angeles why not rent a table and sell some of your dad's things at the APS sale? I'll be there as both a seller and buyer and there is nothing like being able to look at and touch something for sale rather than look at a photo. It's easy to get ballpark estimates of value from "completed" eBay sales.

Wow! Good information. One would think that the four different individuals that I conversed with at ebay would have suggested the same. Amazing the lack of good help. Thank You. Still gonna have to think about ebay though.
