It's rare to find ANY of these early Improved Gram-O-Phone record labels. Step back in time with a young Eldridge Johnson when he was just starting out on his own with his fledgling Consolidated Talking Machine Company. This was the very first paper label and it was very short lived. I've found precious few of these in 30 plus years of diligent searching. Label is worn but still presentable. Plays through with a little nudge on my modern turntable tonearm. Intro grooves are worn and noisy as is typical for almost any very early disc records. This one is #226, "DANCE OF THE HOBOES" by George Schweinfest. I've maintained a white knuckle grip on my earliest discs but it's time to try scaling down the collection.
