Here's a partial set of a Radio Disc label pressing of the Department of the Interior/ Office of Education's Works Process Administration radio documentary series called "Americans All- Immigrants All" that aired in 1938... a very interesting time capsule into the mindset of the times, just before WW2! This was a 26 part documentary, but unfortunately this set is incomplete- it consists of programs:
2. Our English Heritage (3 12" discs)
3. Our Hispanic Heritage (3 12" discs)
4. Scotch, Scotch-Irish, and Welsh (4 12" discs)
7. French Speaking Peoples (4 12" discs)
9. Irish in the US (3 12" discs)
10. Germans in the US (3 12" discs)
11. Scandinavians in the US (3 12" Discs
13. Jews in the US (3 12" discs)
14. Slavs in the US (6 12" discs)
16. Orientals in the US (3 12" discs)
17. Italians in the US (3 12" discs)
18. Near Eastern Peoples (3 12" discs)
26. Grand Finale (3 12" discs)
All are bound in custom heavy duty binders, and all records are E- or better. a few have pressing heat marks. This collection is from a university library archive. I don't believe this series was ever offered for sale to the general public.
Asking $400 for the lot.
