WANTED: VV-105 Knobs

Post by GregVTLA »

Hello! I recently got a VV-105 for the decent price of $100. It is however missing two knobs: one from the bottom and one from the top. They have an antique bronze finish. I believe they have the same dimensions/style as those from an XVI, but don't quote me on that. I'd also be interested in a block needle holder and metal disposal cup if anyone has those as well. I appreciate any help I may receive.

Bump. I found everything except the knobs. If anyone has these, I’m still looking.

I've got a lot of knobs. What does a VV-105 knob look like?

Here are a few pictures:

They're essentially a VV-XVI knob but in an oxidized bronze / antique bronze. These are after I mistakenly removed the antiquing, but you get the idea. Thanks for looking!

If you have the knobs and they still have the bronze plating you can simply recreate the antiquing with liver of sulfur. Different solutions are available in arts and crafts stores. Worth a try I think.
