Wanted: Matthews Reproducer

Post by Kevan »

I am looking for a Matthews reproducer for an Imperial 1 lambertphone or Thorens phonograph in good condition. I can rebuild it for the sound I want if need be. Any leeds on one or if you have one you are will to part with it, let me know. I will pay fare market value. Thanks

What does this look like? Is it for a disc or a cylinder machine?

Yes Thank you phonohound

English reproducer bearing the Matthews mark , generally used on Lambertphone or Thorens phonographs . It is characterized by a 90 ° elbow detached from the base, like the Lioret breeders . In addition, the diameter of the attachment tube is greater than the standard. Harold Clark Matthews has filed several patents for talking machines and image display devices.
