... but I took it back after realizing that the motor wasn't running perfectly... it makes an intermittent clicking sound. Aside from that, though, this machine is completely ready for use and display (reproducer has been rebuilt, motor, case and hardware cleaned up, etc.). I've been in touch with George Vollema and am preparing to send him this for repair, probably this weekend, but I'd rather not deal with the hassle. So if anyone is interested in this as-is before I send it out, I'd take 1850 for it. Once I get it repaired, though, I'll probably just keep it, as it's quite a pristine example with a pretty uncommon horn in uncommonly good condition. It's located just outside Philadelphia in southern NJ.

Even with a minor motor issue, this is a bargain with the very rare horn. I have only come across one of these horns in over 35 years of collecting.

Brian- in blowing up the pics of the motor from your original ad, it almost looks as if the screws on the governor have got to be randomly kissing the spindle gear square teeth... had this issue before myself.

Apparently our roof is now leaking, so I’m going to need some money for repairs. If anyone is interested in this machine, I’ll take 1750 at this point. I’m already losing money, and feel like I’m just about giving this away now.

I've been back and forth on keeping/selling this... but before I send it to vollema, who won't be doing any more work I think until after the new year, I figured I'd list it on ebay. I'll also sell it here if anyone is interested.

this is on ebay... if selling here, I'll take 1600 for it complete but without the horn (meaning everything, including the horn elbow, except just the horn). this can also be shipped from NJ.
