The Chicago horn crane is very unusual and very hard to find. It folds up very compactly, then opens to what has to be one of the funkiest designs ever seen for a horn support.
The picture with an Edison Standard is from the indispensable book "Phonograph Accessories and Contraptions" by Tim Fabrizio and George Paul.
I've had this for almost 20 years but have never had the space to display it properly, so it's time to let someone else enjoy it. It is complete and in very good condition. There is some corrosion but it is overall minor and the nickel still has a bright sheen. With a bit of polishing with 0000 steel wool it would gleam.
The price is $250, including Priority Mail shipping in the US. Paypal is okay. The first to say 'Sold' (and pay!) gets it.
