Very scarce and very LATE Edison Diamond Disc #52621 featuring two outrageous novelty recordings with humorous dialog and orchestra accompaniment:

"I DON'T WORK FOR A LIVING" by JACK DALTON AND THE 7 BLUE BABIES

- and -

"I'M CUCKOO AGAIN" by JACK DALTON AND THE 7 BLUE BABIES

Both sides play crisp and clear with average play wear and light surface noise. Both sides have light scuffs and scratches. One tiny edge flake on R side and both labels are replacements.

This is a very difficult to find Edison Diamond Disc released shortly before recording ceased at the Edison company and everything went belly up in 1929.

Jack Dalton was, of course, Jack Kaufman.

PM with interest. Thanks.

Doug

Rarities like this (whoever buys it) ought to be sent to Don Wilson for copying... :)
