Pending : Edison Home Model D with original Cygnet No. 10 horn. I purchased this several years ago from the Great-Grandson of the original owner and have enjoyed it thoroughly. Now it's time for it to find a new home. It is a 2 & 4 minute machine with a Model C reproducer. It is an unmolested original, but looks to have a later coat of shellac and I replaced the belt with one of the rubber ones. It plays well (see youtube video) and looks great. Asking $999.00 or best offer. Would prefer to not ship this machine, but can deliver to Union for free. If you wish it shipped, you can arrange through our local (Peoria, IL) UPS Store. I will gladly deliver it to them for packing & shipping.

I have great success selling on Ebay. May I make some suggestions.colmike1 wrote:Have listed this machine on eBay. Here is the link:

One of the most important features in selling a high priced item is providing excellent Hi Res photographs. Looks like you took the pictures with a phone and should be taken with a digital camera which are fairly cheap now based on the price you are expecting from your sale.
You are taking the pictures facing light from a window. You should take the pictures with your back to the window so the light from the window will highlight the item that is being photographed. A lamp or 2 with daylight 5000k type bulbs would also help.
Good luck
