Wanted mainspring for Edison Amberola 30

Post by amyrose_CT »

Wanted mainspring for Edison Amberola 30, I have never put in a spring so I don't know what I'm getting into. I saw someone selling one on ebay for $47 + shipping, I don't know if that is the going price....

I'd suggest sending your entire spring barrel to Ron Sitko. He will remove the old mainspring, replace it if necessary, grease it, and send it back to you ready to reinstall in your machine. You can contact him here:

Ronald Sitko

Best time to call is between 7:00pm-9:00pm

Good luck amyrose--

I saw the posts about the outside horn gramophone that looked like it had a radio horn. Good luck starting the collection.

The Amberola 30 is a nice phonograph and the more people get into them, the more the values will rise for good ones. They're some of the few cylinder machines that fit in all decor, too, which is nice.
