I was able to obtain an E condition copy of the same disc for about 1/20 the price. This is the one I've molded, and the original is now locked away with my ofther favorite discs 8-)

Anyone who's interested, please reply and I'll keep a list of those who are in.

I just checked EBAY; and that record has a "Buy It Now" price of $1,495.00 or "Make Offer." Is this the record you are referring to? Are you asking members to invest toward a portion of the record price?

It's the same record- looks like the seller upped the price by over a grand for reasons unknown to me.

I did a search by record number back then and found Don an E copy for around $70, if memory serves. I think it was from the same seller, too. Not sure what's so special about the $1495 copy, unless it comes with a sack with $1395 in cash in it.

YouTube British Pressing says Fletcher Henderson And His Orchestra
Recorded in New York, March 1931. Who knows--I am jazz ignorant--nice song, though.
