I need a replacement back bracket for my Victrola 8-9. I believe it takes the 2 ¾" replacement and bearings. Does anyone have an extra one they would sell. I have gotten them from Ron Sitko in the past; but, have not been able to get in touch with him.

Any help would be appreciated.
thanks,

Don't give up on Ron. I think he retired from his day job but I think he'll continue to provide great phono parts. Jerry Blais

i think that one could be ready to fail as well. Those back brackets are so brittle. I tried to fix it but in the end I gave up and bought one from Ron. Very happy with it. I called him at 8 EST, and he picked right up. Very helpful guy!

Not every original one is going to fail. My 8-9 has its original, with zero cracks.

I honestly have yet to find one that wasn't totally hosed. Maybe that's just my lack of experience talking, and I bought the only failed one in the state. Who knows anymore . My main point was that if you need a new one, get it from Ron. The ebay one could be totally all right. Mine had failed around the set screw like someone had mentioned above.
