A friend is restoring a Columbia BC and all the hardware is missing from his cabinet. Does anyone have a bad cabinet with some hardware or a complete cabinet with hardware for sale?

Nope, but I think there might have been a few others, including the MB (Manitoba) and SK (Saskatchewan) variants. And of course the closest one, the AB (Alberta).

Always the Columbia BO and the BS. I wish they had thought of some of these acronyms BEFORE they came up with catalog designations.

There was. And oddly enough, it predates the BC.Dave D wrote:Ha ha! Was there a Columbia AD?VanEpsFan1914 wrote:A Columbia BC? Golly, that's an old phonograph!

I have to admit getting pretty excited to see that there were five replies to this inquiry.
I had mixed emotions when I read them. Funny stuff here, but no lead on parts!

Dave, If this helps, the handles on the side are the same as the early disc machines. I believe the crank is the same as a BI, but not 100% sure. The crank escutcheon is similar to an Edison cylinder machine. Maybe it will fit and work. They do look the same for me.
