WANTED: Complete set of record books for a VV-130

Post by PHONOMIKE »

I recently got a Chinese Victor Victrola 130 and I am looking for a complete set of record albums to complete it. This is basically the same machine as a Victor Victrola XVII.

If you have a set for sale, or know of someone selling a set, please let me know. Thanks.

Mike,
I've been looking for a set for a while with no luck. Hopefully you will fare better. Wouldn't the Chinese version have black albums? Or, is that the Brunswick Chinese themed machine?

Matt, It is the Victor Victrola 130 I am referring to. I'm not sure if the Chinese version has the black albums or not. I have seen them with both. But the black albums would definitely look a lot cooler in this machine.

The lacquered VV-130s came with black and gold albums. I thought I had a photo here of them, but I don't I'll try to get one later today if anyone wants to see what they look like.

I’ve never owned one, but thought I’d seen them with black albums. Thanks! Would love to see a pic.

My apologies. Last night got away from me, but I found a photo I had taken last summer of the set in mine. Sorry for the bad angle, but this gives you an idea!

Thanks Sean for posting these. They look great in your machine. I know probably a long shot but if anyone knows of any available, it would be greatly appreciated.
