WANTED: Lid Latch
Hello - I was wondering if someone could help me locate a "lid latch" for my phonograph? Not sure I am using correct name for part, however it is usually a spinged pin which fits in side of case to keep top of phonograph secure. Pic attached. Thanks for any help you can give!

Is that a Talk-O-Phone? I'm looking for the same part on mine...

Hello Bill! I believe it is, though not entirely sure! I wonder if another maker, such as Columbia, would fit?

You should be able to tell by a couple of signs:rbjoep wrote:Hello Bill! I believe it is, though not entirely sure! I wonder if another maker, such as Columbia, would fit?
If it's a front mount, the elbow should be of cast aluminum; and there ought to be the lettering "OTMCo" on the underside of the turntable.
At least one person has mentioned that they used the same latch as Columbia; but I'm not sure how accurate that is.
