Offered for sale is an early production Amberola 75 in mahogany, with contrasting light-finish drawers. Serial number 24xx puts it in about the 6th or 7th month of production (early 1916). Nickel reproducer plays very well. Two spring motor runs well and is quiet. Speed control is exposed. Grill is present, but split at top and bottom and repaired. Cabinet is so-so - some alligatoring, some missing veneer on right side at bottom, a small area of felt residue embedded in the finish. Excellent mechanically and acoustically, just needing some love cosmetically. Spots are due to camera and are not on machine. Cylinders shown are not included.

$425 OBO delivered to Wayne, or anywhere along my usual route between Metro West Boston and Nassau County NY. I can't ship, but I can prep for your shipper to pick up from my home.

Looks like someone has gone over the Original finish... but It is what it is.. It's a fairly early Amberola 75 too. What's the Serial Number of the machine?!???

$375 is pretty fair...

Is that just finish Damage on the Lower Left side of the machine, or is that real Missing Veneer Damage..?!?? Curious..

As noted in the original post, serial number is in the 2400 range. The missing veneer on the right side was also noted. The left side of the machine (not shown) is fine. It's an excellent player, just not cosmetically perfect and priced accordingly.
