FOR SALE: Pristine 2nd Style Edison Table Shaver- 1500

Post by long_island_phono »

This machine is pristine. The finish shows pretty much zero signs of alligatoring, the decal is mint, the top works near perfect. It had originals belts but the two smaller drive belts disintegrated. I saved the original large diameter belt. Comes with original swarf bag, original instructions (which humorously calls for shaver operation to be delegated to the lowly office "boy") and two chip brushes. This is probably one of the top 3 cleanest shavers out there.

I have some rather large fish to fry (I hope) and if parting with this makes it easier to fry said fish, then so be it. I can deliver to the Wayne show or Union.

Price is 1500 for Union attendees.

Jake do you know the history of this Shaver? The reason I ask is when you blow up the pictures it looks like there is evidence of the case being refinished, do you know it that is the case?

Rich,

I acquired it from a beloved collector a number of years ago. It is 100% an original finish. It is just that clean. I've studied finishes very closely over the years in order to try to replicate them. This one is factory original.

I have enough room remaining for this shaver and have marked the price to 1500 for Union attendees.
