WANTED: Edison Home Reproducer Arm Adjusting Screw

Post by studebakerphonos »

I need the reproducer adjusting screw as pictured in the upper right here.

Carriage must be the 2 clip 1 hole on each clip type. Other style carriages use adjusting screws that are different.

Will consider buying complete carriage from you. A similar Standard carriage may work too....

If you have one or know someone who does, please email me at : studebaker.phonos@gmail.com

Thanks,
Bob

In case you want to make one, this thread spec on the early home’s and class m’s is an 8-40 double start thread. The later machines have a number 8-40 regular thread. I just had an early 4 digit serial number Edison home in my shop and verified the double start thread. For those who are not familiar with this double start thread, it’s actually two 20 threads per inch intertwined together at 180 degrees apart. I can manufacture this thread but it’s time consuming.
Finest in music box and phonograph restorations for over 40 years
