Columbia "Potato Head" 1478-D, "Felix The Cat" / "Mother Goose Parade". Visual E, plays New Minus- a fantastic copy of this tough to find record. Great band featuring Bix Beiderbecke and Frank Trumbauer. Please don't expect the Ann Bennett song from the cartoon of the 1950s and 60s. This ain't that. It's unclear if this song ever had anything to do with the cartoon other than the name, although Felix was definitely around in the '20s.

$50.00 OBO

SOLD

Most likely: Felix was already a screen star before that mouse came along... ;)

this record definitely is referring to Felix the Cat the cartoon character, as he was very popular in the 20s. I don't know if this song was ever in a Felix the Cat cartoon though. Felix definitely pre-dates Mickey Mouse by nine years. Felix debuted in 1919 and Mickey in 1928 as a talkie.
