1. Vaughan Williams Serenade to Music, conducted by Sir Henry Wood. Pair of original 12 inch shellac 78s of Vaughan Williams Serenade to Music with stellar cast including Isobel Baillie Eva Turner Roy Henderson Elsie Suddaby Norman Allin etc . Conductor Henry Wood. Very nice condition. Important historical document of first ever recording on 15 October 1938. £15

2. Elgar Cello Concerto. Three 12 inch shellac 78 rpm HMV discs, in good clean condition, complete as issued. Beatrice Harrison as soloist, with Sir Edward Elgar himself conducting. Important historic document - recorded 23 March and 13 June 1928 in Kingsway Hall, London These are the first issue - catalogue numbers HMV D 1507, D 1508, and D 1509. £25

3. Bach Double Violin Concerto, Efrem Zimbalist and Fritz Kreisler. Complete first ever recording on two 12 inch 78 shellac discs. Recorded 1915 by the acoustic process. 1920s double-sided issue. £withdrawn

4. Lener String Quartet. Three 12 inch Columbia discs. Beethoven String Quartet Op 135, complete as issued. Catalogue nos. L1918, 1919, 1920. Clean condition. £withdrawn
