FOR SALE: Important Phonograph Collection: Various
Posted: Tue Jun 26, 2018 1:28 pm
Those of you who have collected for some time are familiar with Jean-Paul Agnard. He has offered a variety of otherwise-impossible-to-obtain reproduction parts for decades, and has amassed an outstanding collection of antique cylinder phonographs and related items. He is a good man who has made a positive contribution to our hobby.
At the Union show earlier this month, Jean-Paul sat me down for a heart-to-heart conversation. To my surprise and sorrow, he has decided to sell his entire phonograph collection, and asked if I would help get the word out. There will be an advertisement in the September issue of The Antique Phonograph, but this posting is, I believe, the first public announcement.
I am not acting as Jean-Paul's agent. All inquiries should be sent to him directly at jean-paul.agnard@sympatico.ca
Jean-Paul's collection may be viewed on his web site: http://www3.sympatico.ca/jean-paul.agna ... ection.htm
Scroll down to the heading in red titled: The Collection.
Jean-Paul's phonographs can be seen by clicking on the categories under "The American Machines" such as "Edison Phonographs," "Columbia Graphophones," and "Other American Machines."
Jean-Paul's European phonographs can be seen by clicking on the categories under "The Non-American Machines" such as "Pathé Phonographs," "Other French Machines," and "Other European Machines."
There is also an interesting section to explore titled, "The Accessories."
I am not acting as Jean-Paul's agent. All inquiries should be sent to him directly at jean-paul.agnard@sympatico.ca
Contact Jean-Paul for prices of each item. These are priced to SELL, so if you would like to obtain anything in this important collection, you have an excellent opportunity.
Jean-Paul attends most major phonograph shows in the U.S., so delivery can probably be arranged. Again, please discuss this with Jean-Paul directly.
Best of luck to all - -
