FOR SALE: VV-XVI

Post by Matt Brown »

I just got this in - a nice VV-XVI for sale. Cabinet is really in beautiful condition, and has been thoroughly cleaned. A coat of wax has been applied. The spots in the pics are due to the camera, and are NOT on the machine.
Dealer's decal is from Easton, PA.
Four-spring motor has been gone over, and runs nice a quiet - very strong. Plays quite a few records on a full winding. Keeps speed with no problems.
Speed control has been adjusted - points to "78" when the machine is at 78rpm.
Victor No. 2 reproducer has been completely rebuilt and tuned. Plays NICE and LOUD.
Gold-plated hardware is in nice condition - see pics.
Original turntable felt.
This is a nice clean example that plays great.
Located in Reading, PA. Depending on where you are, delivery might be possible.

Great machine. I see it's from Keller's Temple of Music, where my VV 405 came from. It was an absolutely enormous multi floor music store- I've seen a 1900's postcard of their phonograph department and it looked like a flower garden with all the horns in the room.
