SOLD: H&S Glass Horn Repro - 18" long - $250

Post by TinfoilPhono »

About 18 years ago, collector/restorer Paul Baker made a small run of reproduction glass horns. Most were Pathé-style, in various colors, but he made just a few plain, clear glass horns that are close replicas of those made in the early 1900s by Hawthorne & Sheble. (See the photo 1-13 in "Gadgets & Gizmos" by Tim Fabrizio and George Paul.) As far as I know, no other replica H&S glass horns have been made.

It measures about 18" long with a 9½" bell. Price: $250 plus shipping at cost. It is fragile so it will need to be double-boxed. I would guess that this might cost $40-$60 but the actual cost will be determined by the packaging and the shipping destination.
