I am in need of two horn doors for an early VV-IX in mahogany. Model is from 1913-14 (ser. # 32366), flat bottom (no scalloped bottom edge). Pics of machine below. As a bonus, this machine came with an Improved Concert Reproducer. Iā€™d like to save the machine if possible. Please let me know if you can help.

Questions about the motor to follow in the machines section.

Thanks,

Matt

The doors on this machine is too late for Matt's machine. This one is from about 1914-15. The case on the earlier one is smaller. The door hinges on this one will not align with Matt's machine. The earlier one has more holes in the hinges, whereas the later one have less holes. Matt's machine is from 1912 because of the forward crank. In 1913, the VV IX used the same motor as the later Victor III and IV. The crank was in the center and had a metal motor board.

Thank you, Harvey. I guess I am still looking for parts. After spending some time working on this machine last night, I've made a more accurate list of the components needed. The doors, hinges, crank escutcheon and motor board hold down bolts are missing. The crank is missing also, but I should have one of those.
As always, any and all help is appreciated.
Thanks,
Matt
