FOUND: GOVERNOR SPRINGS FOR PORTABLE PHONOGRAPH

Post by pellicano1 »

Question, do any of you machinists on here able to make governor springs? I need a set of 3. The spring measures 1 ¾" long x ¼" wide. The screw holes are ⅛" on center from end of spring. I do not have a multi-meter to measure thickness. Anyone? My portable Triumphon sits silently :(

I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work.

It is really important to have a matched set. I would suggest you send one of your good springs to Ron Sitko and ask for a new set of three. It's a small investment and you'll be much happier.
