Wanted: Victor III Horn Elbow

Post by c5fan »

Looking for a Victor III horn elbow in decent condition for a reasonable price. Will also buy one in any condition if need be. Looking to replace one with a few holes, otherwise in good shape (not sure how to fix holes). Thanks

Ron Sitko, currently closed until Jan. ?, sells an authentic replacement. I think the price is around $100 to $125. I would expect a really nice original to be in the neighborhood of $200. I wonder if a Forum member has suggestions for filling the holes in your elbow. Some photos of your elbow may stir up some suggestions. Jerry Blais

I made the picture as large as possible. There are actually 2 holes. Thanks

I'd suggest checking with a plater. I bet those small holes could be filled and any minor dents removed before nickel plating your elbow. Jerry Blais

I would solder, sand and buff smooth and then have the elbow re-plated with dull nickel.

I would have the holes filled and then re-plated . You will be happy you saved an original part.
