Now that the first snow has fallen in the Midwest and Northeast, and now that the nightime temperatures are dipping below freezing, it's that time of the year to start thinking about hibernating in the shop and working on some projects.
Well...I have just the project for you.
For your consideration, here is a Zonophone Rear-Mount Concert Grand that needs some TLC. All that's missing is a crank, otherwise the machine is complete and 100% original. Just the way you like to find them. And the machine runs GREAT.
This machine sports a great all brass horn that is very straight. As you can see by the photos, it needs some clean-up and re-finish work as well as a rebuild on the reproducer. The perfect cure for the wintertime blues.
