WANTED: 10" Victor Pressed Steel Turntable for Victor IV

Post by Zwebie »

I'm looking for an Excellent 10" Victor Pressed Steel Turntable to fit a Victor IV.
Must have excellent nickel.

(I'm not sure if a VV-IV turntable would work or not?)

Thanks in advance, Bob S.

It depends upon which motor your machine uses. The earliest pressed turntables were used post-1909 on machines with double cut gears and bullet brakes. The same turntables were used on slightly later machines with quad-cut gears and pantograph brakes. There were at least yhlthree later "Victrola" motors used in the few late Victor IV machines. Heck, the last of them were fitted with the Burton motor and the little speed indicator window, just like a big VV-XI.

And small boss.
