[tbody][/tbody]Extremely Rare Gramophone and Typewriter Company Ltd Trade Mark Dog Model Style no 6 in working condition. Period 1900-1905. Have a look at the detail photographs of the machine. The green felt has been replaced. The old felt disintegrate with age. I'm the second owner of this machine. It was brought to Cape Town, South Africa by the original owner from England. The machine is sold with the dog and 12 original E. Berliner records pressed in Hanover Germany. This was the cheapest of the 3 side-wind models introduced. Case: Oak with raised fielded panels, Motor: Single-spring, going barrel with bevel gear drive, Horn: brass witches hat 14 x 10, Soundbox: Concert Standard, Travelling Arm; oak, on edge, self-supporting. Depicted in His Master Gramophone 1897-1960 by Brian Oakley and Christopher Proudfoot on page 15 (ISBN no 978-0-9567771-0-2. I have only seen two other in collections.
