WANTED: Certain Common Title 78s & Cylinders

Post by VanEpsFan1914 »

I'm looking for some Victor 78s. Like I don't already have enough, right?

1. I'm a Member of the Midnight Crew. 1909, Eddie Morton.
2 On the 5:15: Billy Murray & American Quartet. 1915.
3. Arrah Wanna: Collins & Harlan (would also purchase the Gold Moulded version for the Edison Phonograph.)4
4. Hallelujah! Franklyn Baur, 1927, Victor Orthophonic
5. Paddlin' Madeline Home--my Victor batwing is hammered. Another, please?
6. Where Can I Meet You To-Night: Ada Jones & Henry Burr. 1914. Recorded on Columbia, also released as an Oxford Record. I have had the Oxford version a long time but it is worn out.
7. The Yama Yama Man, 1908. Would love the Ada Jones version.

Anyway, there's a little wishlist. I'll pay right for the right records. Thanks!

I have clean copies of 2, 5, and 7. Is the Baur a solo or refrain?

Franklyn Baur is the "soloist" but it's a foxtrot record that he sings the refrain on.

If I can't find it on 78, I'll just get the 4-minute version for the old Edison.

How much do you want for 2, 5, and 7?

(Edit. "I'm A Member Of The Midnight Crew" is a priority.)

I have a duplicate of Ada Jones singing "The Yama Yama Man" on Victor double sided Patents label. The other side is "Hello People" from "Havana" by the Victor Light Opera Company. If you haven't found a copy it's yours.edisonplayer

Hello,

PMs have been sent to Joseph Clack & to edisonplayer regarding records. Thank you to both of them for responding!

If anyone has the other records on the list and would like to pass them on, let me know. I might be getting rid of some stuff but now I have some space for a few dream titles.

Sincerely
Charles F.
