SOLD: Edison Amberola 1A Mechanism - $800

Post by gramophone78 »

I am offering an early (serial #2745) Amberola 1A mechanism. I have wiped it lightly to show the overall condition. There is a thick layer of hard black grease as can be seen and should clean right up. The motor runs smooth and strong. Two small set screws (one for holding the reproducer & one for the shut-off set rod) and brush part are missing.

Reproducer is serial #379.*Please note* the reproducer played loud and clear when I tried a blue amberol on this mechanism.
What you see is what you get. So PM me with your questions.

The asking price is $800 plus shipping (PayPal friends & family). I may be able to have this taken to the Union show for a fee.
