Ron Sitko sells reproductions, if you don't find an original.

Thanks John. I probably should have stated that my machine is not missing its brake. The plating on the brake that I have is not as nice as the plating on the rest of the machine, so I am looking for a gold plated brake and screws with good plating. I probably should be satisfied with the one that I have, but I would like to upgrade the brake if I can. I suppose that I could get it replated, but I don't want it to look over-restored.

As for plating most acura , mecedes Lexus dealerships have someone that gold plates their emblems. Most of these cars came with chrome logos and emblems when new. When certain people buy the cars they want the items gold plated. I worked for Acura and our dealers always told us about the request and that they had people to plate for them. Some want * BLING *

I’m not after bling. I just want the finish on the brake to match the rest of the machine. I am hesitant to have it replated because I don’t want it to look too good. It’s like an elderly person with a jet black dye job. The contrast is a bit too striking, although there may be some that can pull it off.
