WANTED: Columbia Spindle Gear & Crank

Post by Bruce »

Hello

I am looking to restore a Columbia Grafonola Eclipse and need a replacement gear and crank. Normally I would approach George in Michigan but he is off for the winter so I was hoping a forum member has these items sitting in a parts drawer.

1. The spindle gear, seen in the photo, is worn smooth where it matches to the govenour.

2. The crank is a female style for a motor shaft of 5/16 inches and 4 inches long to clear the housing.

Thank you

Bruce

If the thin fiber gear is worn, or broken, Ron Sitko makes an excellent Delrin replacement for it. I got one about a year ago for $25.00.
