I have what I believe is a [Reproduction] D2 Reproducer, in good working order as far as I am aware. I got it in the early 2000s for my Eagle but I guess I ordered the wrong thing. While I now have a "D1", I would like to try and find a original Eagle Reproducer. If it needs to be restored, that's fine - so long as it is restorable (sending it for mica / overhaul). If I need to add some juice, that's doable too

Perhaps this D2 does not carry any value toward a original Columbia Type B Eagle Reproducer. If not I mean no offense. I'd figure no harm in asking (I hope)!

An original Columbia B reproducer is worth twice the amount for a repro D-2 reproducer. An original D-2 reproducer with some cash on your part will be an even trade for a B reproducer.

That does not surprise me, I'll keep watching this space. Perhaps something will pop up, or not.

I sold my original Eagle reproducer about a year ago to a fellow collector here in the forum. I think I paid around 225.00 for it and maybe sold it for 125.00 or 150.00. I only had it as a spare for my Columbia BX, upgraded Columbia B which user the larger reproducer similar to yours.

About 10 years ago, you could find the Columbia B reproducers a little easier, they seem to be harder to find and you will be hard pressed to find one under 175.00. If it were me, I would say trade the reproduction D2 and throw in at least 50.00 plus postage. This is just my suggestion.

Yep, that is what I am hoping for - keeping my eyes out. I am just hoping to stumble on someone that has one; does not need it but needs this D2.

Getting the original is more of a checkbox / wish thing. I'd also like to find an original (tin?) horn.

which for the record, I am way willing (expecting) to give more than $50 + my reproduction reproducer.
