FOR SALE: Nice 2-Min Albany Indestructible Cylinders-Various

2-Minute Albany Indestructible Cylinders (and one 4 minute!).

These are in excellent condition and many are in nice original Columbia 2-Minute Indestructible boxes and some have their original lids. All cylinders sold will include a cylinder box even if the listing does not indicate one. As with most Albany Indestructible cylinders, the sound is excellent. Many band recordings (Marches, etc.) on Albany Indestructible will thunder your eardrums they're so loud so if you want to exercise the diaphragm on your reproducer play almost any Albany Indestructible March recording. Two-Minute Albany Indestructible recording and sales was discontinued in very late December 1911 / early January 1912 at around catalog #1515 and most recordings beyond catalog number 1400 are rather scarce (IMHO). (Recording resumed in 1914 with catalog #1516 but customer interest in 2 minute cylinders was almost dead by then.) So, generally speaking, the later 2 minute (and 4 minute!) Albany Indestructibles are often difficult to find. They're all wonderful playing cylinders.
