Here is a earky mahogany cabinet for an Edison 1A. Has the early 2 Louvers, early lock (the strange key), egg crate designed record holders (missing inserts). Has some veneer issues on the side and lid top, back door is missing and has a piece of wood there. Very interesting that the data plate is SN 512 but cabinet is stamped 46 and 55. Definitely a early production cabinet worth saving.

I believe so. Looks like to me someone might have started stripping it to work on it.
