Very scarce 1901 7-inch CLIMAX RECORD Manufactured Solely For Columbia Phonograph Co:

#453 "PRESIDENT McKINLEY'S FUNERAL SERVICE" by Climax Quartette. PM with interest. USPS Media Mail shipping included.

The record plays loud and clear start to finish with some intermittent surface noise primarily due to areas of surface moisture exposure (not entirely captured by my camera lens in the picture below but noticeable) long before I purchased the record. Note the original early brass grommet in the spindle hole.
