SOLD: Early Graphophone Type HG 5" - $525

Priced for forum members only, here is an early example of the first style of HG, for 5" Graphophone Grand cylinders. Where a 5" mandrel should be is a standard cast aluminum mandrel. Whoever did this, and judging by patina it was probably 100 years ago, fashioned and nickel plated an adapter extension arm for the floating reproducer, so you can play standard-sized cylinders, and it does indeed work!

Carriage tube is free and assembly has been cleaned and lubed and tracks without issue. The motor runs smooth and strong and the freshly cleaned and lubricated top works works well, helped out by some of Wyatt Markus' super belting. Crank is original. What else is missing? One corner column, and one lid latch knob, both of which are available on donor Type A/AT cabinets.

Free delivery to Union, happy to ship as well for price of shipping.

(SOLD) Price $525
