WANTED: Case and Lid for Edson Standard Model E
Looking for a reasonably priced case and lid for a Model E Standard in good condition. The one I have has a back bracket and I would like to use my blue flowered Edison horn with crane. Thanks

You want the case for a regular D through F Standard.
Why not remove the back bracket, keep your machine fairly original, and put on the flowered horn? Just a thought. The holes should hurt nothing, I think.

Case is not very good. No decal, no bottom, seams pulling apart, no lid. Bedplate is almost perfect as with most of the late model phonographs.

An important point to remember with the lids for the Standard Model E,F and G. These later ones had the latch with 3 screws, not 4. It took me a while to find a lid for my Model F.

Re: WANTED: Case and Lid for Edson Standard Model E
The bottom case were all almost the same for the D,E, and F. The lid changed to the three screw for the latch on the E and F. Also some lids on the E case had a large E pasted over the how to change the reproducer tag in the lid which is hard to find. . That was because the standard E was a four minute only phonograph. Some people later change the gear to make it into a combination phonograph. The actual bed plate for the C,D,E,and F did not change for all those models. Tom
