Here we have something that you would need if you had a DC powered phonograph.
It is a high-quality DC power supply, fused with overload protection. It outputs between 3.4 and 4.9 volts (Set by a turn-button on the circuit board) - the perfect range for a Class M, or Bell Tainter electric phonograph. It could power others requiring this voltage as well.
It works wonderfully and is inside a period battery box with terminals. I have upgraded the power cord to be period appropriate (sundial wire) twisted pair wire with an antique plug.
This unit performs well and is much more durable and desirable than the cheap variable voltage units found online.
