For Sale: A great example of a very Rare 10-inch Monogram Record. Sold by the Ohio Talking Machine Company of Toledo, Ohio. The title is J.K. Emmet’s Cuckoo Song by Geo. P. Watson. Yodel No. 9008. The condition is very good with some unevenness to the surface similar to that seen on other early disc records ie Berliner records.
The earliest Ohio Talk-O-Phone machines have a label on the bottom that states they are only licensed to play Monogram Records. This label was quickly replaced with more common Talk-O-Phone label and the Leeds embossed label.
